2.1 This Policy applies to information we handle as a business with respect to visitors to the Site and prospects and clients of the Services, where we act as the party that determines how information is used (the "controller" or "business").

2.2 Client lead-generation sites. When we build and operate a lead-generation website for a business client, information submitted by that client's end customers through that client's website belongs to, and is controlled by, that client. For that information, AppSqrl acts only as a service provider or processor on the client's behalf and under the client's own privacy notice — we are not the controller. If you submitted information to a business's website that we operate, please contact that business regarding its handling of your information.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide. When you use our contact form or communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, business name, trade or service, service area, phone number, email address, and the contents of your message. For clients, we also collect information necessary to provide and bill for the Services.

3.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our providers may automatically collect usage and device information — such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps — through cookies and similar technologies.

3.3 Sensitive information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise geolocation) through the Site, and we ask that you not submit such information through the contact form.

6.4 No sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable law.

7.1 Where a client's Services include text messaging, messages are sent through the client's own messaging account, and consent is obtained as required by applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Standard message and data rates may apply; recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.

8. Data Retention

8.1 We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

9. Security

9.1 We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

10.1 You may request to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and opt out of marketing communications, by contacting support@appsqrl.com.

10.2 U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and a right against discrimination for exercising these rights. We will verify your request before acting on it.

11.1 The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
